Beaucoup de shopping

I haven't been able to post for a couple of days. First I didn't have time and then the internet didn't work. I really hate it that we lose the connection every once in a while. But yeah, during these (almost) 3 weeks that I've been here I've been shopping way too much. Here's what I've got so far.

In a store called Mim they have lots of basic clothes really cheap (cheaper than H&M for the most part). The striped t-shirt is from there.


And these three also. Normal, long, black cardigan was really welcome in my closet. And cost only 14€.

I also really like Moa accessories. The cupcake bracelet is from there.



And the legwarmers are also from Moa.


My new heels that I couldn't resist at New Look! I love these. They cost 29€.

Shorts also from New Look. They look kind of weird in the picture but they're really nice on.

A black skirt from Zara. I've been wearing this a whole lot since I bought it, it's so comfortable on :) Looks stupid in the picture though.

This bird-print dress is from Bershka and it was in sale so it cost only 10€. The belt came with it.

I've been looking for this kind of jeans for a while now and I found these from Zara. I took them in bigger size because I really like that they're baggy.

This skirt was on sale in Zara and it was love at first sight with this one. I really like the hem.

One thing I was also trying to find for a long time is a brown bag that I could also use at school. I found this one in Etam and I've been using it ever since.

Camaïeu also sells basic clothes for cheap. This red striped shirt cost only 3,95€.

I also went to get some basic tops and shirts from H&M and found something else too. This cropped shirt looks really good with a long black top and jeans.

This is one of my favorites now too. A striped shirt with full-length sleeves is never a bad purchase.

Our French friend from Orléans is coming to visit us for the weekend so I don't know if I'll be able to post that much this weekend but I will try my best :) Bon week-end à tous!

Fourvière

Sunday at Park de la Tête D'Or.

Today we went to see the cathedral at Fourvière in the night light and it was so pretty there.



I really wanna go there again, so prettyyy. Gonna go to bed now, I've been flipping out all day long. I was going to show you my latest shoppings yesterday but the internet didn't work the whole day because some douchebag had unplugged some stupid cord so what do you do.

I'll be the guide for all time

It's amazing that our house is still up and running after Friday night's bday celebrations. This is what I saw when I woke up on Sat morning.


Impressive, huh? :D There weren't too many clean spots left. All in all, it was such a good party, I really enjoyed it and I think house parties are always better than going to a club or something like that.



I look super tired. Guess that's what being an exchange student does to you. Now I'm signing off and going to bed :)

Party and Party and Party

Waiting to get into La Voile. It was such a bad organized party! Friday was so much better but I will post the pics later.

Today I went shopping again and found some pretty nice things, I'll post pics of them later too. I really have to go on a shopping strike as of right now because I don't think I have too much money left anymore. It's just hard because France is such a shopping paradise :)

Tomorrow we have a huge picnic with all the exchange students in Lyon. I'm so tired. Oh and for your information, even though I post a lot of pics from parties, it's not everything we do here so don't take me for an alcoholic or something :D It's just the most interesting part and people usually take pictures in parties so they make it here very often too.

Ayers Rock

On Tuesday we went to an Aussie bar called Ayers Rock. It was pouring outside so I look terrible. Some professional photographer was there taking pics and I found these three on the internet :)

We had a great party last night here at our place because three people in our 'class' had their b-day yesterday (exact same date & year!). Needless to say, the apartment is now a big mess. Well.

Is this Africa?

Hello peeps :) I'm so tired once again but I decided that I should post more often so here we go. Yesterday we had a party at an Aussie bar, which was really nice even though we didn't stay out too late and it was raining really bad outside. Oh and the subway was partially out of order so we had to walk for miles (and I was wearing heels) in the pouring rain.

Today I was at school from 11.45 til 16.45 and after that me and one of my roommates went shopping at Part-Dieu. I bought some pretty nice clothes but I'll show them later :)

Anyway, this is old news, but on Sunday we went to this really big park here in Lyon, called Parc de la Tête D'Or.

Looks pretty, right? We're gonna have a big picnic there with the exchange students on Sunday. Don't know why but this reminds me a bit of NYC Central Park even though I've never been there.

The best thing about the park was all the amazing animals and the zoo.

And there's no entrance fee or anything, you get to see everything for free which is so cool :) Bambis! ♥

But the best thing in the zoo was definitely the elephants! I'm a huge elephant fan and I had never seen them before (not even in Thailand, so weird) and I was so happy to see them here.

They kept throwing sand on themselves :D

We also wanted to get cotton candy because the smallest one cost only 1€. Yes, that's the smallest one they had.

Gotta get to bed now, I'm dead tired from shopping and skyping and school and whatnot. Tomorrow some classes and a biiiiiig exchange student party.

P.S. I've now spent more than a week here. Wonder how fast the rest will go...

Can't get my eyes off of you

We had an amazing party last night (yup, Sunday) at our canadian class mate's and his 2 french roommates' place. Tomorrow I had to wake up for school after 2 hours of sleep and that was really horrible, better get used to that I guess. Now I'm dead tired and the real classes start tomorrow so I should go to bed soon.

On Saturday we went shopping on Part-Dieu mall, which was huuuuge. I should go there again soon because they have all these amazing stores like Bershka, New Look, Mango, Zara, Pimkie, Jennyfer etc.

This is what I've bought so far:

A new mascara from our Casino Supermarché that is near our place. Unfortunately I bought a brown one so I have to get a new one, AGAIN. But this mascara is really good.

Disney Store at Part-Dieu was so amazing. I found Marie keychain! Marie is one of my fav Disney characters, don't know why, so this was a must-have purchase.

101 Dalmatians notebook for school. This is really big, size A4, and cost only 4€ because of being on sale.

A striped shirt from Pimkie cost something around 10€. The other day I came to realize that I forgot to take all the normal long-sleeved shirts with me from Finland and I really needed a striped one so I bought it.

A white t-shirt, also from Pimkie. I had somehow ruined my previous white t-shirt so I needed a new one. I hope this will last longer since this is the third white tee I've bought within 2 months.

I also found a cute grey polka dot skirt from Pimkie, this was only 5€ because it was on sale. I just don't really get it why I took too big a size?! Well, it can be sewed pretty easily.

Being the Minnie Mouse addict that I am, I couldn't resist this Minnie t-shirt at Jennyfer. This cost 8€.

I was also supposed to buy small loudspeakers before leaving Finland but somehow I didn't find any nice ones and didn't buy them. Today I found these Logitech speakers at Monoprix. They cost 20€. I saw these exact same ones in Finland in pink colour, too bad they didn't have them here :(

I got the desk and the lamp the other day so now I can better use the computer in my room. I really love how the lamp, mouse and the mousepad match :D

Now I'm off to bed, I have 2 long classes tomorrow and after that a party to go to (what a big surprise).
