The taller you are the harder you fall

I had such a nice weekend, even though internet hasn't been working properly lately (once a fucking again). On Friday we skipped one lesson and ate pizza, baguette and croissants in the grass area thingy near our school, the weather was perfect and we did some shopping afterwards (mid-season sales!).

On Saturday we visited a small island near our place, called l'Île Barbe and I got some pretty sweet shots from there that I'm gonna show you here as well. After that we were hanging at Guillotière river bank (the usual) and after that went to one of those boats that are kind of nightclubs. The night was so nice I had such a nice time. It's weird how many guys just come to talk to you because you're blonde, meh.

Yesterday I didn't really do anything, which was nice for a change. Today we skipped school and later today I'm going to go see You Me at Six and Kids In Glass Houses, should be fun. And we're maybe going to Cosmopolitan afterwards (beer for 1€ lol).

Anyway, let's go back to last Wednesday. As I might have mentioned here, Wednesday was the day of Julian Perretta's showcase at Fnac (a really big record, book etc store).

I couldn't believe it how many people actually showed up and we were so late as usual. You might see me in the line way back there (the only blonde in the crowd so funny). Well, the place the showcase took place in was so small that we didn't get in :( I was third on the line that didn't make it.

Well at least I got to see him and got his autograph (yours truly, fangirl_89).

We were just sitting there and drooling because he was so cute :D And I loved his British accent but that of course goes without saying.

(Some random picture I took from the balcony of the Polish girls' apartment in their housewarming party. I really enjoyed the view.)

Le samedi dernier ♫

Blah I've been so lazy with blogging lately, so annoying. Anyway, I haven't done this kind of an entry before but because we took so many photos last Saturday, here we go. My Saturday in pictures.

The weather was pretty good outside, around +22'c.

This view is from our street.

The girls wanted to eat kebab so we orienteered somewhere near our metro station, Gare de Vaise. I thought I'd take photos of our neighborhood while I was at it.

After some kebab and fries we went to the store (Casino Supermarché as always), got some wine and arranged our own private girls' party on our balcony.

It was so nice just to sit there with good music and some wine because even though it was dark already, it was nice and warm.

After some chilling we met up with the others at Guillotière river bank. It's the kind of place near downtown where all the young people usually go to before hitting a club.

We were listening to music on my phone, haha nice soundsystem we had there.

At some point everybody had to go to chill under the bridge because it was starting to rain. It was a really fun night, even though we took the last metro home around midnight. We met some English and Scottish people there as well :)

Take it back, every word I said

I've been listening to the brand new Bring Me the Horizon album the whole day and I love it so much. Well I've loved them for 4 years now so what's there to stop me :)

The past couple of days we haven't really done anything and maybe it's good every once in a while. Tomorrow I have school and after that we were planning on going to a mall we haven't yet been to (H&M midseason sale!) and they're supposed to have some pretty sweet stores.

Anyways, here are some pics from the past couple of weeks :)

Sunny Bellecour one Sunday. Probably three weeks ago or something.

We arranged a biiiig party in our house two weeks ago and here are some pics from that night.

This is my favorite pic. Desperate housewives!

Haha we had to take some precautions what came to alcohol that night.

Yesterday we decided to bake something because there was supposed to be a movie night that we were too lazy to go to and we wanted to bring something 'Finnish' there with us.

Haha so glad we made two of those because the other one burnt.

The other one was better (ignore the sauce pan we had to make it in) and reeeeeally sweet! I haven't felt like eating anything carbohydrated since. The chocolate thingies on top were sooo good but chocolate-wise the pie was a bit over the top haha.

Yesterday the girls also cleaned our apartment (thanks, will try to join you next time :DD) and now it looks far more liveable. I don't know why I find the hat on the armchair so funny but it keeps making me laugh.

That's it for today guys :)

P.S. I can't wait for Julian Perretta's showcase on Wednesday! He seriously is the cutest thing ever!

I don't know about you but I came to dance!

I went to see some bands at CCO Villeurbanne on Friday and it was great fun :) Now I can't wait to go to another concert! I'm so glad that there are so many good shows to go to here in Lyon, especially this fall.

So I saw two local bands, Jessy and The Slugz and then of course Forever the Sickest Kids. If you're interested, you can listen to their music on their Myspace. You get there by clicking the pictures below.

There you go! I also tried to take some photos at the gig but you know what happens with the combination of bad illumination and sucky camera...

I especially hate the ones taken with flash. But yea the concert was nice :) After that we went to the weirdest rock/metal club ever haha, so random and so much fun. Anyways, I'm gonna go spend the sunny Sunday and enjoy life now.
